Eminent performers of the Detroit area have performed in this group. Drummer Jason Gittinger is one such musician who has graced this band with impeccable performances. The talent of Jason has been spotlighted on many occasions. Likewise the accomplished musician guitarist Mick Khzouz plays just not only the guitar style but also loves and enjoys performing music of the olden era; particularly bringing back the unique aspects of the 80s. Keyboardist Ron Abraham has been playing the keyboards for several other bands, while touring to the world. His qualitative performances have brought respect and esteem for him, and he has achieved an impressive position as a crucial member of The Mega 80’s. The hip stage demeanor and excellent vocal ability of Ron make him one of the committed members of The Mega 80 team.

Famous jazz bassist Takashi Iio performs for this band. His uniqueness has been augmented time and again as he is at home to compliment The Mega 80’s musically and comically. The audiences literally fall in love with Takashi due to his fresh dance moves and big smile – his on stage respectable antics. This band has never looked back on its failures; instead it has sprung onto the Detroit music scene through newer innovations. The most respectable feature of this band is its art in mixing of accurately replicated music of the 80's era. This band has used the retro style with its expansive play list to become a dominating force in the Detroit entertainment scene.

The lead vocalist for the Mega 80's, Carey Denha was a vocalist of the Going Public, a Michigan State band. He played when he attended the university in the 90's, as well as the original Michigan M'80's band. Carey has now embarked upon managing other high end production bands including the new venture of The Mega 80's, Tangerine Moon Productions. So far, Tangerine Moon Productions has brought into the musical fold two other great shows, The Spirit of '76 and Boogie Dynomite. Carey operates his DJ Company, Jammin DJ's and enjoys DJ'ing in his spare time while serving The Mega 80’s.

This band has regularly experimented improvements and experimentations with all of the continued improvements to the show by either adding the new dancers, video elements and or implying unique and spectacular light shows. The Mega 80's production longs to hit the national scene by performing in Florida and Las Vegas in its forthcoming ventures. This band has moved a long way from the banks of the Red Cedar at Michigan State University to the Palace of Auburn Hills, Mich.
