Taj Mahal met with a local DJ from Q100.5 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller bars in which they began.
The band is in the first leg of the accompanying tour for their latest project. Taj Mahal will take some time off after the tour, to allow the group members to recharge after a long tour.
