Background:
Stellastarr is a New York based rock band. Interestingly, the band members met each other when they were pursuing some courses at Manhattan’s Pratt Institute of the Arts in the 1990's.The band comprised of drummer Arthur Kremer, bassist Amanda Tannen and vocalist and guitarist Shawn Christensen. As they met, they formed the band and named it Ghistor. It was just the beginning of the great journey as they had just become proficient in their instruments and they had a long way to practice to sharpen their music skills.

About Stellastarr*
Actually, to form a band was just a casual move from the band-members as initially they were not quite serious about the future of the band. As the trio graduated from the Institute and then moved to explore the different directions. The solid bond between them already formed. The trio came together in the spring of 2000. To complete the final line up of the band, they hired Micheal Jurin. Jurin was the ex-member of Charlotte's Funeral. And thus, born the Stellastarr.
In 2002, the band signed by Tiswas and then they went on to issue the EP, "Somewhere Across Forever." This was followed by their self titled debut album "Stellastarr" which was issued in 2003. In 2005, they came with their recent release, "Sweet Troubled Soul." Catch them performing live, but don't forget to grab your tickets from an on-line ticket vendor to avoid the rush for tickets.
