Slide met with a local DJ from Q96.9 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the band. All the members quit their day jobs to focus on their music. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller clubs in which they began.
