About Shinedown
Members of Shinedown hope to collaborate with other artists during the tour. The group may have recently completed their new album, but they are already planning their next move. Shinedown's new project is the band's first since the band members went to work on independent projects seven years ago.
After getting the record deal, Shinedown were sure they would make it. The band is mobbed by fans at every show. After paying their dues and opening shows for years, Shinedown was signed to a record deal. All the members quit their other jobs to focus on their record.
Shinedown finally knew they made it in 1982, when the band's first fan club was started by Carol Jagodzinski. Initially the group only had a few fans from Jacksonville in the club, but after playing from coast to coast the fan club’s membership exploded to a few thousand.
