Scott Weiland was discovered after their single was heard on K101.9. The band group played festivals, parties, bars, really just about anywhere that would take them. Scott Weiland were uneasy after releasing the debut single, but were happy when they heard their music on the radio for the first time. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller bars in which they started.
Scott Weiland finally knew they made it when Debbie Krishnamurthy started the first fan club for the band in 1976. After the band’s first North American tour, the fan club grew from the couple dozen fans who heard the band play around Urbana to the thousands who heard them play across the nation.
Scott Weiland appreciaites their fans and wants to give them a good show, so they play older hits along with the most current singles.
