Ryan Montbleau is a graduate from Villanova University; during his college days he realized that he has great passion for music. With this jest he started studying poetry and playing guitars for hours, just to develop his singing voice. It just took a few years for Ryan to grab his first gig. He played throughout the hippie-juice joints, coffeehouses, sports bars and the streets of Harvard Square. Well, just five years later, this diligent artist emerged as a full-flown, artist and a great performer with a bright future ahead.
Along with growing popularity, Ryan also earned some encouraging reviews and many music critics compared him to the likes of Ani DiFranco and Leo Kottke. Slowly but surely, he has built up a super six-piece band, appropriately titled as the Ryan Montbleau Band. Much more than a bunch of some talented artists, the band is backed up by soothing lyrics and high beats.
The band issued their debut album "Begin" in 2002 and "Stages" in 2003. INsite Magazine quoted, "It's hard to imagine that such a big voice flows forth from such a humble person. But flow it does, easily, with strength that makes him seem at times like he's channeling blues legends and at times a freestyle rapper."
In 2004, the band hit the road hard with 196 successful shows under its belt. The group appeared from Chicago to St. Louis and Maine to Georgian. With their every performance the band has seen a mammoth growth in the fan base. They are moving rapidly and their energetic performance shows no signs of slowing down. Catch them performing live to feel the energy, but first of all grab your tickets from an on-line ticket vendor to avoid the rush for tickets.
