Roger Creager is an accepted and one of the top figures of the Texas Music Scene. This award winner performer has shown the perseverance and genuine quality throughout his gradually flourishing musical career. Creager had been passionate about music since his childhood; at the early age of six he had decided to create music. He started his music training while he was studying in second grade. His initial training included: playing piano and guitar. During his teens, Roger continued singing, he didn't exhibit his talent to anyone else due to sheer shyness, and also played with songwriting but he never shared his honest efforts. At the age of 26, Creager began performing for audiences but he couldn't carry on and headed for corporate America. For the next several years, he worked as a hardworking accountant in Houston, TX. Then, to pursue his dreams he decided to quit and went back to College Station, TX. He spent his next year by playing piano in a local band and after some time formed a cover band with Justin Pollard. Initially, it was a steady going for their band but eventually Pollard left the band and then Roger decided to move ahead alone.

About Roger Creager
His band consists of Troy Brown (piano), Stormy Cooper (bass guitar), Matt Baker (lead guitar), and Jason Swindol (fiddle, mandolin), Kirby Standley is band's tour manager. Ultimately, Creager successfully merged his business background and musical talent and created his own publishing company named as: No Cable Music. His traditional music is unique as it has a distinctive twist. After releasing his debut CDs, Creager gained a huge response and named as the Entertainer of Year at the “Texas Music Awards” in 2001. Their next album came including their hit singles "Having a fun All Wrong" and "Got the Guns" in 2002. In 2003, he released his next project "Long Way to Mexico," that was a superb mix of jazz, Latin beats and rhythms of county. Creager is one of those rare artists who stood against the time and followed their rare dreams.
