Ricki Derek & His Big Band knew that they had a real chance to become a headlining national act in 1998, after the band's first fan club was started by Jessica Lordi. Starting out with just a few dozen members in Washington, D.C., the fan club quickly grew with group’s national tour and the launching of the group’s website by Martha Bierlein.
