Razorlight was discovered after single was played on Q98.9. The band members were ecstatic to have the opportunity to make an album and quit their day jobs that supported them while they worked hard at night to make their dreams happen. Razorlight were still not sure if they would make it after getting a record. They had heard too many stories and knew that they were in no position to expect anything. The band no longer has any problem selling out a show.

Razorlight accepted they had finally made it as soon as the band’s first fan club was started in 1988 by Jen Gremillion. After the band’s first North American tour, the fan club grew from the couple dozen fans who heard the band play around Pittsburgh to the thousands who heard them play from New York to California.

Razorlight's performances always have the audience singing by the end of the concert. The group is sure to schedule a performance at City in San Diego every time they tour because they used to play there all the time before they made it big.
