The members of Qwiksand were friends in grade school. The band was influenced by the Benagls. Qwiksand started performing at the college dive bar Hobo. The bassist wanted to start a band since he was in college.

About Qwiksand
Qwiksand hope to collaborate with other artists while they are on tour. The band has just finished their new project, but they are thinking of what is next to come. Qwiksand's newest record is the group's tenth project.
Qwiksand were still a little worried after they released their debut release, but were relieved when the release began to get some radio play. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in smaller bars in which they started. Qwiksand was discovered while playing at at City, a local dive bar. The band's members had horrible jobs when they started playing, just biding time until they would hit the big time.
The band has never played a bad concert in Buffalo, so they make sure to schedule a stop there whenever they tour. Qwiksand’s tickets for their latest tour are on sale on Ticket Specialists, along with the schedule of all the group’s concerts.
