After paying their dues and opening shows for years, Quinto Sol was signed to a record deal. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller venues in which they started.
Quinto Sol realized they made it in 1989, after Sandra DeCambra started the band’s first fan club. Initially the band only had a few fans from New York in the club, but after playing from coast to coast the fan club’s membership exploded to a few thousand.
Quinto Sol intends to take a break after this next tour, allowing the band members to work on individual projects. The band recently finished their newest album, and they are already plotting the next move. Quinto Sol's new album has taken the band in a new direction, incorporating more influences than previous albums.
