Quanta’s first release rose quickly in the charts, giving them the national recognition they always wanted. The groupspent years before being signed as an opening act.

Quanta knew they had finally made it in 1983, when the band's first fan club was started by Patricia Casas. Initially the band only had a few fans from Los Angeles in the club, but after playing all across the country the fan club’s membership exploded to a few thousand.

Quanta's new record took three months to record. The group just finished their new release, but they are already planning their next move.

Generally, critics have praised Quanta for their ability to rile up the audience at live shows. A music critic from Washington, D.C., Mark Van Hoos, has always mentioned group’s terrific drummer. Quanta’s most current project has received terrific praise from all the critics, including Malcom Smith, who first saw the band perform in Cleveland.

The group is sure to schedule a performance at Fighter in Houston every time they tour because they used to play there all the time before they made it big.
