Purple Reign’s members met in grade school. The drummer used to listen to radio constantly as a kid. The bassist wanted to start a band since he was in middle school. Purple Reign started playing at the local dive bar Governor. The band asked the local radio station to play their first release.

After this last busy year the members of Purple Reign will take a break. The group just completed their new record, and they are already planning their next move. The latest release from Purple Reign is the group's seventh album.
