Powerman 5000 is a sizzling Boston-based underground metal band. Well, the band caused a stir among the music lovers after the tremendous success of their 1995 Indie-debut released, “The Blood Splat Rating System,” it was issued under the Conscience Records. After this success, this group shifted their gears to the Dreams works label and issued their next effort, "Mega Kung Fu Radio," in 1997.

After this release they never looked back and went on to issue "True Force" in the same year and "Tonight the Stars Revolt" in 1999.Their next release was titled "Anyone for Doomsday" but it faced many obstacles. Finally, this release was halted and then aborted. Well, they also suffered because of some rumors and finally rumors proved true when band's bassist Dorian Heartsong and Alan Pahanish, drummer quit the band in November, 2001.
It was a very torturous period for the band so it seemed as if the group was not looking to rebuild their lineup. Well, luckily, the group didn't have to wait for a long time, as just after a year bassist Siggy Siursen and drummer Adrian Ost were added to their final line up.
The band is back with full strength and they are ready to hit the music charts with their awesome numbers. With this new line up, the group issued their 4th album “Transform" in 20003. This new presentation was a blend of some new sounds. The band has given some of the very best tracks to their music lovers and whenever they perform live, they just set the stage on fire. Catch them performing live, but first of all grab your tickets from an on-line ticket vendor to avoid the unavailability of the tickets.
