Since then they have given many smash hits. Their 2nd album "Ignition" was released after four years. Instantly, this album became a huge underground hit and set the stage for their next album. In 1994, the band issued their next album "Smash." One of the singles "Come Out and Play," from the album became a major hit and went on to become an MTV hit of the summer in 1994. After this they never looked back, they played both on album rock stations and alternative to ensure their broad-based appeal. Their 2nd single "Self Esteem" also hit the music charts and stayed there for a while. Soon, the offers came pouring in; but the band continued to stay with their old label Epitaph. In the beginning of 1995, the band gave another smash hit, "Gotta Get Away" which became another MTV hit.

With every release their popularity grew and then the band went on to record a version of Damned's "Smash It Up." This was followed by their next release "Ixnay on the Hombre" in 1997 for Columbia records. Though it couldn't become a crossover hit. This was followed by their next release "Americana" in 1998. With this release band hit "Pretty Fly." In 2003, they issued their mixed version of "Americana." This was followed by "Greatest Hits" in 2005.
