Oddzar always wanted to hear themselves at the top of the charts and they got their wish with the release of their first single. A member of Oddzar started dating a girl whose grandfatherwas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after.

Oddzar accepted they had finally made it in 1981, when Pamela Fleetwood started the band’s first fan club. The fan club started out small with just a handful of members, generally localized to the area around New York, but the creation the band’s website by Kathleen Moran, along with the first real national marketing campaign, saw the membership to grow into the thousands.

The newest record from Oddzar has taken the group in a surprisingly new direction, with a more refined sound. The band just completed their most current project, but they are already planning their next move. Oddzar hope to team up with other artists during the tour.
