The members of Obscura grew up together. The drummer discovered his love of music while listening to his uncle's collection of records. The lead singer used to fall asleep with a CDplaying as a teenager. Obscura began playing at the local dive bar Assistant. Ozzy Osborne heavily influenced the early work of the band.
