Nameless’s members met in college. The bassist was influenced by his family's love of music. Nameless began singing at the college dive bar Desperado. The Rolling Stones heavily influenced the early work of the band.

After getting the record deal, Nameless were sure they would make it. The group took any show they could get before they were signed.
Nameless accepted that they were truly working musicians when the band’s first fan club was started by Susan Menchen in 1979. The fan club grew from a few dozen to a few thousand after Jenny Verlinden created a website for the band and a national tour gave the band plenty of exposure.
The most current release from Nameless is the group's first album in four years. The group has just finished their most current project, and they are already plotting the next move. Members of Nameless hope to collaborate with other artists while they are on this tour.
