mc chris was born as Chris Ward on September 2, 1975 in Illinois, USA. mc chris, is a rapper, voice actor, and improvisational comedian. His trademark style is a unique mix of his "geek" heritage with the "gangster" image generally related with hip hop artists, and the high pitch of his voice, which he had used in his 2003 song "10 Year Old". In this song, he had sung like a 10 year old child.

He has been a part of many of Williams Street Studios' shows on Adult Swim, especially the Aqua Teen Hunger Force as MC Pee Pants/Sir Loin/Little Brittle. In Sealab 2021 he appears in some bit parts, and consistently recurred as the crude and often misguided Hesh, and he also had a minute part in the Brak Show.

mc chris amazingly encourages fans to remix his songs, and help in the growth of nerdcore rap. His first album can be downloaded free, from his website, and he has released four albums till date. To give more time to his recording career, in October 2004, he announced his resignation from Cartoon Network, but said that if required he is willing to return to Williams Street. After the announcement, he toured America on many occasions, to expose America to nerdcore rap.

chris made an appearance on fellow rapper MC Lars' album "The Graduate", as the unfriendly roommate on the track "The Roommate From Hell". In an interview on 11th April 2007, chris said that he will probably release his next album before Christmas 2007, and the name for the same is expected to be Six Feet Under and Rising .
