Kapowski was discovered while performing at at Malpractice, local bar. The group members were glad to have the opportunity to make an album and quit their day jobs that supported them while they worked hard at night to make their dreams happen. Kapowski were happy to get the record deal, but were not sure how far they would go. The release of their first single convinced them that they were right where they should be after their songs began to get lots of radio play.

Members of Kapowski see this tour as a chance to expose a whole new group of fans to their music. The group just completed their latest album, but they are already planning their next move. The new project is 's first release since the band broke up eight years ago.
