Kagrra started playing at the local club Gong Ho. Earth, Wind, and Fire heavily influenced the early work of the band. Kagrra’s members were friends in high school. The guitarist wanted to start a group since he was in grade school.

About Kagrra
got Z93.5 to start playing their single and had their friends call in to request the song. A record executive heard it one day and immediately signed the group. The group members were glad to have the opportunity to make an album and quit their day jobs that supported them while they worked hard at night to make their dreams happen. Kagrra’s first album did not sell well, but received critical acclaim. The second album was a hit and the band was saved from being released by the record company. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller clubs in which they started.
Kagrra plans to take some time off after this next tour, allowing the group members to rest after a long year. The band may have just completed their latest record, but they are already plotting the next move. Kagrra's newest record is the band's first album in three years.
