About Jay Reatard
Jay Reatard was discovered while playing at at Beach, a local dive bar. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller clubs in which they began.
Jay Reatard accepted they had finally made it when Michelle Felson started a fan club for the group in 1996. Starting out in New York with a few dozen members, the club grew fast, eclipsing a couple thousand from coast to coast in under a year.
The new release is 's first project since the band broke up three years ago. The band is in the start of the accompanying tour for their newest release. Jay Reatard intends to take some time off after this next tour, allowing the band members to rest after a long year.
