This excellent comedian was born on June 9, 1936 Sheboygan. After graduating from the City College of New York, he started working as a rabbi in Pennsylvania. But his penchant for comedy industry, forced him to resign from this service to become a full fledge comedian. His sense of humor helped him to grab the attention of the audiences. His charismatic personality helped him to invigorate the ambience of a show. For his outstanding performance in one of the episodes of The Simpsons titled “Like Father, Like Clown”, he was honored with the prestigious Emmy Award. He was so popular among the audiences that he was selected among top 50 comedians in a poll, which was conducted to find out “The Comedian’s Comedian”.
In the “Comedy Central Presents: 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time” Jackie Mason grabbed 63rd position. This was the proof of his enormous popularity among the audiences. Mason had performed in several small comedy concerts or shows before performing in the show “The World According to Me”. This was the first Broadway show where Mason had performed.
