Members of J. Biscuit are expecting to bring in a whole new group of fans with this tour and the new project. The group is in the middle of the tour accompanying for their latest record. J. Biscuit's latest release has taken the group in a brand new direction, going back to basics.

J. Biscuit were unsure about their music careers with the release of their first release, and were relieved after their music began climbing the charts ad getting lots of play on the radio. The band continues to play large venues, but still enjoys performing in smaller clubs on occasion. J. Biscuit met with a local DJ from Z99.1 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the band. The group group played festivals, parties, bars, really just about anywhere that would take them.

J. Biscuit realized that they could really have a career in music after the band’s first fan club was started in 1991 by Shirley Wolbert. The club started out in Ann Arbor with a handful of members, but grew tremendously once their singles started getting national air time.

Every time the group comes to Cincinnati they are sure to stop at Academic and play a show. J. Biscuit will mix songs from the latest record with hits from its past release.
