Imogen Heap, born in 1976, is a famous British singer-songwriter from Essex. In 1996, Imogen enjoyed a reputed live debut - performing four sizzling songs, where she performed with Who and Eric Clapton at the Prince's Trust Concert. Imogen grew up playing all kind of music from an early age, and by the age of eleven she had begun to write her own tracks. Recently, her music grabbed the attention of young people, when her soothing song "Hide and Seek" was presented. The album "Hide and Seek" was issued on the 5th July 2005 as a digital download and instantly become a digital hit single. The album ended up peaking at #8 on the famous iTunes UK download chart. Heap is a classically trained pianist. It was in Essex, where she studied the classical piano.
