The Genitorturers is an American metal/industrial rock band and their songs have influences of the Hardcore Punk and Electronic Music of the 1990s. The band came into existence in Orlando in Florida in the 1990s. It was founded by the lead singer Gen when he was in the pre-med. The band called themselves as the "The World's Sexiest Rock Band". The band led the way for performance based musical artists.

It all started in 1993, when Miles Copeland, who was the owner of IRS Records with a track record of nurturing the careers of many leading bands, sent his assistant to find the performance of the band. The band’s performance and the style of music that had good fusion of hardcore punk, industrial electronic and metal was enough for the getting the recording contract of the band. The first album of Genitorturers called “120 Days of Genitorture” was released under IRS Records. The band has performed extensively in the United States, Japan as well as Europe. A special feature of the band is their different exploits and porn shows as well as own style of music.

The band has done extensive touring in the United States, Japan, and Europe and is internationally renowned for its exploits, pornographic show content, and unique style of music. In 2000, the band released the albums “Machine Love” and X SIN CITY JAPAN. Earlier to that, Genitorturers released “Society of Genitorture” and “Sin City”. The band released their album called Flesh is the Law in 2003 with such tracks like "Lecher Bitch". The track was included as the background song of the video game Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. There latest album called Live in Sin was released in the fall of 2007 which was their live DVD. They autographed their sales on the eBay. The band announced over MySpace about their new album to be released in the spring of 2008.

The band members of Genitorturers comprise Gen in vocal, Evil "D" David Vincent and Bizz in the guitar. The band has performed in Television that includes VHI, Hard Copy, Playboy TV’s “SEXCETERA”, Fox News and HBO’s Real Sex. The band got wide coverage in the print media as well. There have been over 5,000 pages of articles published in the print media so far. These include articles in Gene Simmons "Tongue" magazine. The 12 pages article in the Hustler magazine was the first of its kind provided for a rock band. The band has put down even the worst critic to believe in their abilities. The touring around the world has provided them with a wide and ardent fan base. These fans even travel to watch them play for a second time.
