Background:
"Fall out boy" is a Chicago based new rock band on the block. It’s all started in 2000, when this band was formed. The passionate band members met in the suburbs of Wilmette and went on to form the band. The line up of the band comprised of bassist Peter Wentze, Vocalist/guitarist Patrick Stumph, guitarist Joseph Trohman, and drummer Andrew Hurley. Earlier, Hurley was playing as a drummer for a local band but by the time he decided to move on with band because of sheer dedication for the hardcore community.

Their music blends some essential elements of pop-punk with innovative demo sense. Their unique approach and powerful beats have earned them a tremendous popularity and dedicated fan base across the nation and around the world also. After playing some initial gigs, the band members went on to issued their demo EP in 2001. This release was followed up by split LP, which also featured popular Project Rocket.
With their diligent efforts, both acts earned tremendous success and their efforts were being recognized throughout the whole country. Then, they issued their next mini-LP, "Fall out Boy's Evening out with Your Girl." This release also proved another successful effort and consequently helped them to broaden their fan base. This was followed up by a record deal which the band signed with Gainesville. Under this label, the band recorded "Take This to Your Grave."
This was followed by another release titled, "Grave" which was issued in 2003. With this release, the band became a huge sensation. Their music really caused a stir among the music lovers.
