Face to Face was discovered after single was played on K95.1. The bandstarted headlining shows as soon as they started playing together. After the single hit the airwaves and became incredibly popular, Face to Face knew they’d made it big and were not willing to be just another one hit wonder. The band is so popular they fan clubs in every city.

Face to Face accepted the fact that their dream of making a life as musicians had come true after the band’s first fan club was started in 1977 by Angela Yeubanks. After the band’s first North American tour, the fan club grew from the couple dozen fans who heard the group play around Philadelphia to the thousands who heard them play from New York to California.

The group is in the first leg of the accompanying tour for their new record. Face to Face's most current record has taken the group in a brand new direction, with a softer edge.

Generally, critics commend Face to Face for their playfulness with the audience when they perform live. A music critic from Charleston, Evan Abbott, has always been a fan of group’s great drummer. Face to Face’s newest release has received terrific praise from Seth Gibson, a music critic out of St. Louis, and Norris Richardson, from Washington, D.C..
