The new release from Eskimo Joe has been heavily influenced by artists of the 1980s. The group may have just finished their new project, but they are already plotting the next move. Members of Eskimo Joe hope this next tour brings in more fans than ever.
Eskimo Joe’s first album was a dud, but the second finally got some attention. The group does not have a problem selling out any venue now, small or large. Eskimo Joe met with a local DJ from Q90.9 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the band. All the members quit their other jobs to focus on their record.
Eskimo Joe accepted they had finally made it as soon as Jessica Colangelo started a fan club for the band in 1995. After the band’s first North American tour, the fan club grew from the couple dozen fans who heard the band play around Atlanta to the thousands who heard them play all across the country.
The band has always had a good time in Springfield so they make sure to play there every year, even if they are not promoting anything. Eskimo Joe will mix songs from the most current record with hits from its past project. Eskimo Joe’s tickets and latest concert information are available on Ticket Specialists, along with the complete tour schedule for the band.
