Background:
Electric Six were formerly known as the Wildbunch. They blend disco, punk, metal and new wave into a sizzling mix to give pulsating tracks like "Danger! High Voltage." This track ranked as number two on the prestigious British charts early in 2003. It's all started when singer Dick Valentine, bassist Disco, Guitarists Rock and Roll Indian, Surge Joebot and drummer M formed a band in 1996 and named "Wildbunch."

About Electric Six
Then they hit the music stores with their debut single "I Lost Control." This album received many rave reviews from the known critics with the sizzling hit like "Tonight." In 1999, the band released a full-length album. This release couldn't earn the expected popularity. In 2001, they released “Danger!High Voltage," which became an instant underground hit, particularly in the U.K.
This success is followed by their deal with the XL. Under this new label the band went on to re-record their hugely hit single "Danger! High Voltage." This time they added backing vocals from the popular White Stripes' Jack White. After this re-released in 2003, the band named themselves as "Electric Six" and went on to issue their full-length debut album "Fire." This album achieved reasonable success and few weeks after Rock, Disco, Roll Indian and Surge quit the band, though they were replaced by Frank Lloyd Bonaventure.
