Eddie and the Hot Rods’s first album was a dud, but the second finally got some attention. The band really enjoys performing and is playing almost nightly before fans. Eddie and the Hot Rods met with a local DJ from K94.1 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group. The members of the group all quit their other jobs to focus on their music.
The group recently completed their new album, but they are already thinking of their next move. Eddie and the Hot Rods's latest release has been heavily influenced by singers of the 1960s.
