Death Cab for Cutie’s newest release, “Narrow Stairs”, is due out May 13, 2008 and already has a tour in place to accompany its release in May. The album is expected to have a louder sound than the last few and was influenced by heavy metal music and the synthetic punk band Brainiac.
The tour will change its opening acts a few times from the Decembrists to Rouge Wave to Styrofoam. The group will also play few major music festivals this summer, including Pemberton Festival, Quart Festival, and Bonnaroo.
