About Cory Morrow

The talented Cory Morrow was born on May 1, the year 1972 in Houston, Texas. He started playing guitar to perfection at the reputed Memorial High School in Houston. Thereafter he continued to increasingly develop himself as a musician while happened to attend the Texas Tech University. During those days he was a prominent member of the popular Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. In the year 1993, Morrow moved to the city of Austin, Texas to actively pursue music as a fulltime career. Along with his trusted college friend Pat Green, Morrow went on to popularize what is today often known as "Texas Music".

He essentially is also considered a predominant part of the popular Red Dirt music scene which deliberately differentiates itself from the much more popular Nashville music scene. Till date Morrow has managed to sell over 200,000 albums independently. Incidentally Morrow's 2002 release titled “Outside the Lines” reached to the #28 position on the Billboard's Country Album chart and went on to make to the #3 spot on the magazine's Internet Sales chart. Apart from this SoundScan ranked him as the #7 artist among “country debut artists” for that year. Cory Morrow also is probably known for his good looks and is one of the most widely popular performers in whole Texas region. With his combination of rugged good looks along with passionate song delivery he is comes as package which few music lovers can resist. He has successfully released six albums till date among which are four studio albums and two compilations of live recording. He has managed to received wide acclaim from some of the country music's toughest critics in business and has successfully established a huge base of fans that evidently stretches from the popular dance halls in Texas to iconic rock clubs located in the North Carolina region.

In his illustrious career Morrow has composed numerous numbers. Among the songs he has penned include the poignant “Nothing Left to Hide” which stands out for its deep lyrical brilliance. Some other mesmerizing tracks include “Heart of Fire” which incidentally is a life-affirming anthem that is characterized by a galloping beat. Also his works include the first single titled “Beat of Your Heart” which stands out for its romantic lyrics and striking drum-driven organ swells
