Calle 13's new project is the band's first album in six years. The group is in the beginning of the accompanying tour for their new album.
Calle 13 signed the record deal, but were not expecting the next step to be any easier. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller clubs in which they started. Calle 13 talked to a program director from K94.1 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after Calle 13 was signed. The group members were happy once they were signed and quit their odd jobs that had supported them while they worked toward their dreams.
The band has always had a good time in Pittsburgh so they make sure to play there every year, even if they are not promoting anything. Calle 13 seamlessly blends the songs from the older record with tracks from their latest release.
