Even after getting the record deal C. C. Manded were not sure if they would make it in the end. The band's members all had odd jobs while they waited for their time to come.
C. C. Manded realized they had finally made it in 1992, as soon as Angela Boughton started the band’s first fan club. The fan club started out small with just a handful of members, generally localized to the area around San Diego, but the creation the band’s website by Donna Felson, along with the first real national marketing campaign, saw the membership to grow into the thousands.
