Background:
If you find yourself longing to hear the energy and passion that embodied the band called Sublime, then you need to get yourself tickets to see Badfish live in concert. The band has proven to be the definitive tribute band to one of the most difficult-to-emulate, hard-to-describe bands that ever was. With a song style that ranged from punk to reggae and an on-stage energy that simply could not be duplicated, Sublime set the bar pretty high for any acts that would follow them, much less pay tribute to them. Badfish has managed to do just that in a unique and unforgettable way.

The band consist of three guys based in the northeast US. Attempting to duplicate Sublime on stage is an incredibly daunting task and that's exactly what Badfish doesn't do. The boys are well aware that unlike other bands, the Sublime experience just can't be replicated- even if it were to be duplicated to perfection, it would still come off as second best. As a tribute band, Badfish knows that being second best just isn't enough- they are not just another imitation band. Badfish is honoring one of their musical heroes the only way they know how. This is why Badfish only do Sublime as Badfish. Their musical interpretations are their own with no intent of replicating the Sublime persona on stage.
What makes Badfish so popular is that they replicate the essence of Sublime to a tee. By pouring themselves and their souls into each and every song they perform, the band manages to bring the spirit of Sublime to the stage and this is probably the best tribute any band could give. By giving 100% each and every time they do a Sublime tribute, the boys do more than ample justice to Sublime and keep the audiences coming back for more.
Unlike most other tribute bands, Badfish has their own scene and band of dedicated and loyal fans that one would normally only see around large bands with record labels under their belts. Badfish have gigged and toured extensively making them a known force not just on the tribute circuit but on the mainstream circuit as well. The energy and electric attitude that they bring to the stage is reason enough to watch them perform live.
