Back Porch Mary's most current record has taken the group in a very new direction, with a bigger sound. The band is in the start of the promotional tour for their new project. After this past hectic year the members of Back Porch Mary will spend some time apart.
Back Porch Mary’s single rose quickly in the charts giving then the national recognition they always wanted. The band is constantly touring now, rarely taking a week or night off.
Back Porch Mary knew they made it in 1990, after the group's first fan club was started by Debbie Brooks. The club started out in Omaha with a handful of members, but grew tremendously once their singles started getting national air time.
