"Arc Angels" is a sizzling blues-rock band. Unfortunately, this band was formed after the sudden demise of legendary Texas guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. All the band-members came together, when they felt that they should do something to pay homage Vaughan as they wanted to keep his legacy alive.

The original line up of the band comprised of drummer Chris Layton, bassist Tommy Shannon, lead singers and guitarists Charlie Sexton and Doyle Bramhall II. Actually, the name of the band came from the initials of the popular Austin Rehearsal Complex. Initially, the band played in that Complex. In 1992, he band issued their self-titled maiden album in 1992.
Their hugely popular tracks included, "Good Time," "Spanish Moon," "Living in a Dream," and "Sent the Angels." All these soothing tracks were dedicated to the late Vaughan. After achieving such a huge success, the band members never looked back. With their every release, the band went on to scale new heights.
Though after achieving such success they went through a very bad phase as the band members convicted in the case of drug abuse. Unfortunately, the band disbanded in 1993. All the band members went for the solo career. Only, Layton and Shannon remained together as both were quite comfortable with each other. Both kept on recording new albums.
