Alter Bridge is a hard rock band. Its sound is an amalgamation of 1970s classic rock with contemporary hard rock. About Alter Bridge
The name "Alter Bridge" is from a bridge in Mark's childhood memory. It was located on the Alter Road, the Korte intersection forming the border between the cities of Detroit, Michigan and Grosse Pointe Park. As a child, he was strictly forbidden to cross it.
