Alison Moyet was discovered after single was played on K95.1. The group played for years atsmall bars making almost no money. After the single hit the airwaves and blew up, Alison Moyet were still afraid they’d be a one hit wonder. The band continues to play large venues, but still enjoys playing in smaller clubs on occasion.
Concord has always been receptive to the band, even when they were small time, so the band schedules a show there every year, even if they are not touring.
