There superb single "I Ran" hit the music stores in 1982, followed by its Video same year. After hitting the MTV, song became a bigger hit, because of rotational play. The band is comprised of talented hairdresser as lead vocalist Mike Score is a hair dresser. Mike formed the band with his brother and drummer Ali, soon they added bassist Frank Maudsley. With this line up the band became official in 1980. Soon they added talented guitarist Paul Reynolds to complete the line up.

In 1981, the group issued their maiden EP on Cocteau Records. Though the record didn't earn much attention but one hit single, "Telecommunication" of this EP became an underground hit in the famous Euro Club scene. Soon, the band signed up with Jive records. In 1982, the band issued their full-length debut album and "I Ran" became an instant hit.

This single was a mammoth hit, and it instantly included among the American Top Ten. Though, album couldn't repeat its success in the U.K. After this smash hit the band couldn't repeat their success. In 1984, the band issued their next album "The Story of a Young Heart," though it failed to generate any hit singles. After this release, Reynolds quit and he was replaced by Gary Steadnin. In 1986, the band issued their next release, "Dream Come True." This release was a super flop and soon after the band broke up.

In 1989, Mike Score put the brand new lineup and then issued hit single "Magic." After this the band embarked on an exhaustive touring but they couldn't create any big impression. In 1996, they issue their next effort, "The Light at the End of the World." If you want to experience their music, then collect your tickets from an on-line ticket vendor and catch them performing live.
