Zucchero is a famous Italian musician. His real name is Adelmo Fornaciari. This music genius was named Zucchero by his elementary school teacher and by the time this name appealed to Adelmo so much that it just stuck. Well, Adelmo began playing guitar when he was just a kid. Actually Adelmo's home is province of Reggio Emilia. During his musical training Adelmo focused on R&B and Blues. These special genres helped to tone his musical skills.

During his teenage years, Zucchero ardently formed a small band and named it "Le Nuove Luci." After playing is some gigs, he formed another band in 1978 and named it "Sugar and Candies." Besides performing in small gigs he also began writing songs for various Italian pop groups and artists. Well, he also wrote some very soothing blues oriented songs for himself. This genius continued to perform and his talent finally recognized when he performed in the popular Castrocaro Festival in 1981.
This success made him overnight sensation and he became one of the most sought after artist and got a chance to perform at Sanmero Festivals in 1982 and 1983. In 1983, he issued his debut solo album, "Un Po' Di Zucchero." In 1985, he performed at the popular Sanmero festival and caused a sort of stir among the music lovers.
