Members of Zox are expecting to bring in another audience with this tour and the new record. The band just completed their new album, but they are already plotting the next move. The new record from Zox is a refinement of their accepted sound.

Often times, critics have praised Zox for their ability to energize the crowd when they perform live. Galloway Lewis, a music critic from Portland, has always commended group’s crisp lyrics. Zox’s newest project has received excellent praise from all the critics, including Nathan Rummerfield, who first saw the group sing in Atlanta.

Zox talked to a program director from K99.1 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after Zox was signed. The group members were glad to have the opportunity to make an album and quit their day jobs that supported them while they worked hard at night to make their dreams happen. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller clubs in which they began.

Zox realized they made it in 1985, as soon as Ruth Smith started the band’s first fan club. While the club started out small after the organizer heard the group play at a small club in Philadelphia, the club grew leaps and bounds after the band’s first national tour.
