Zion I began singing at the local bar Narrator. The guitarist wanted to start a band since he was in middle school. The drummer first found his love of music by listening to his sibling's collection of records. Zion I’s members met in middle school. The group kept requesting that the local radio station to play their first release.

Zion I's new record is the group's first since the group members went to work on independent projects four years ago. The band is in the first leg of the tour accompanying for their newest release.

Zion I talked to a DJ from X101.1 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after Zion I was signed. The group group played festivals, parties, bars, really just about anywhere that would take them. The group is constantly touring now, rarely taking a week or night off.
The group has an obsession with Supplies in Omaha and are sure to play a concert every year. Zion I respects the fact that their fans love their older records, so they go to great effort to incorporate the older hits with the newest ones.
