Background:
"Young Dubliners" is a Los Angeles based superb rock band. There is and interesting thing related to the formation of the band. It was formed by an incident when Paul O'Toole and Keith Roberts met each other and realized that both shared a great passion for music. Actually both are natives of Dublin. Then they decided to go along and went on to form their very own band in the early '1990s. When it came to name the band; both agreed to name it after their native city and thus born the Young Dubliners. To complete the line up of the band, they recruited bassist Brendan Holmes.

After some rigorous practice, they went on to issue their debut EP, "Rocky Road" in 1994. Before releasing their maiden full-fledged debut album, they added another member. Violinist Charles Waltz added to get the final line up. With this new line up the band went on to issue their debut studio album, "Breathe" in 1995. Soon, they hit the roads to promote their album. Their stunning live performances have also been compared to the likes of Philsh and Dave Matthews Band. In the mid of 90's, the band went through sudden changes as O'Toole and Waltz or the founders of the band left it.
Undaunted by this sudden change, the remaining line up of the band issued their all time best critically acclaimed album, "Red" in 2000. This album was issued on their very own label, "Om Town." They also wrote the theme song for Gabriel Byrne's hugely popular television show, "Madigan Man."
In 2001, the band embarked on an extensive tour and toured through Europe with Jethro Tull. The band also gave stunning performance, when they performed at the 2000 Olympics ceremony in the popular Salt Lake City, Utah. For their future projects, band added drummer Dave Ingraham and guitarist Bob Boulding. In 2002, the band issued "Absolutely," which was followed by "Real World" in 2005.
