Yaz was discovered after single was played on Q91.9. The band members were ecstatic that all the small clubs they had played had paid off. Yaz signed the record deal, and fully expected that they would last past the first album.
Yaz's members see this tour as a chance to expose a new group of fans to their music. The group may have recently finished their newest record, but they are already thinking of their next move. Yaz's newest album is the group's tenth project.
Yaz seamlessly blends the songs from the older record with tracks from their latest release. Champaign has always been receptive to the band, even when they were small time, so the band schedules a show there every year, even if they are not touring.
