Vendetta Valentine first garnered some national attention with their first single. The band is on the road all the time now promoting their album before large crowds. got K92.1 to start playing their single and had their friends call in to request the song. A record executive heard it one day and immediately signed the band. The band members were glad to have the opportunity to make an album and quit their day jobs that supported them while they worked hard at night to make their dreams happen.
Vendetta Valentine realized that they could really have a career in music when the group’s first fan club was started by Ruth Parquette in 1984. The fan club may have just started out with a few members that followed the band when the played in small clubs, but it quickly grew to thousands after the group released its first album and started touring nationally.
The group is in the beginning of the accompanying tour for their latest project. Vendetta Valentine plans to take some time off after this next tour, allowing the band members to work on side projects.
