Vega 4 will take a break after the tour, to allow the group members to work on other projects. The band just finished their newest album, but they are already plotting the next move. The new project from Vega 4 is the group's first album in seven years.

Critics have generally commended Vega 4 for their ability to energize the crowd at live performances. A music critic from Tampa, Ian Kostner, has always pointed out band’s song's lyrics. Vega 4’s most current release is receiving great reviews from Lenny Brooks, a music critic out of Pittsburgh, and Kent Foster, from Buffalo.

Vega 4’s first album did not do so well, but the second album was a hit, going platinum. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller bars in which they began. Vega 4 met with a local DJ from X101.5 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the band. The group members quit their other jobs to focus on their album.

The group has a love affair with St. Louis so they are sure to stop by and play a show whenever they are touring.
