Vedera began singing at Jam, a college club. The group was influenced by music of the 1960s. The members of Vedera met in 1988. The guitarist used to annoy his mom by playing his favorite cassette tape at all hours of the night.

Vedera was discovered after their single was heard on K102.1. The bandplayed anywhere that would have them in the beginning. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller venues in which they started.
Vedera will take a break after this next tour, allowing the group members to work on side projects. The group has just completed their newest project, but they are thinking of what is to come next.
Generally, critics commend Vedera for their playfulness with the audience at concerts. Andy Kaplan, a music critic from Denver, has always mentioned band’s superb bassist. Vedera’s most current release is receiving generally positive reviews from Quintin Hilgendorf, a music critic out of Philadelphia, and Jack Vanderhoff, from Concord.
